Our Story
Husky Intelligence was born in Tampere Finland back in 2014. It was founded by ex-CEO Seppo Varpukari, who built a similar ERP and workforce management system called Numeron OY with a turnover in 2015 of over 4.2 million euros, Numeron was acquired by Visma in 2016 and this is where the Husky Intelligence journey began. The software name comes from the nature of the Finnish Lapphund. Thought to have initially been brought in for racing, the Finnish Lapphund were born to run. Agile, obedient, and athletic, these dogs are also thought to be incredibly intelligent which allowed the founders to coin the phrase Husky Intelligence. Since the inception of Husky Intelligence the current ownership had a territorial license to sell the solution in the UK. Fast forward to 2023, after 7 years, and the acquisition was completed which meant that the system is now owned and developed via our UK office in the heart of Lancashire through Soft Sell. Even though HQ is now UK based, we still support our loyal customers in Finland and the EU alongside our smaller operation in the USA. Our development first focus, led by our clients ideas makes for a bright future. We want to make Husky Intelligence the most flexible, easy to use and feature rich FSM, ERP, CRM on the market, worldwide.
Empower Your Field Operatives with a Samsung Tab A8
To help you get the best out of Husky Intelligence we have decided to start selling the Samsung Tab A8 for the use of your field operatives. As Husky Intelligence allows your operatives out in the field to complete jobs on their own device, it might be hindered at the fact there is an unreliable phone signal on the site. With our tablets, they use a multi-network SIM card enabling the tablet to connect to the best available signal in the user’s location. We made sure the SIMS can connect to any one of the UKs most trusted phone networks; O2/Vodafone/EE/Three. We also make sure your devices won’t run out of storage by using aggregated data tariffs. This means that your data is shared between users so that overage is cancelled out (10 x 2GB = 20GB for example). We can add restrictions your tablets to prevent your employee using up storage on unwanted apps/websites. Your tablets can be locked down so that Husky Intelligence is the only purpose for the device. Husky Intelligence will also be ready to open when you turn on the tablet, making the whole process quicker and easier to manage jobs on site. As your tablets will be going on site, as standard we add ruggedised cases and screen protectors to prevent your devices getting damaged. We will also ship the tablets directly to you.
